Maggie Grigsby

Mrs. Maggie Grigsby, 84, of Woodville, died Wednesday, February 13 in Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mrs. Grigsby was bom June 11, 1900, near Viewtown. She was a lifelong resident of Rappahannock County and was the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Maggie E. Martin Grimsley. Her late husband was Paul Grigsby.
Survivors include two daughters, Ada Settle Burke of Woodville, with whom she had made her home for several years and Mary Louise Faulkner of Castleton and three sons, Alvin P. Grigsby of Castleton, Hugh P. Grigsby of Warrenton and Kerry P. Grigsby of Woodville; 31 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Isa Alma Grigsby and three sons, Dudley Grigsby, Charlie Grigsby and Floyd Grigsby.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at Geest-Johnson Funeral home in Culpeper by the Rev. Jimmy Burke and Rev. Hoover Heflin. Burial was in the family cemetery near Castleton.
Pallbearers were William Tharpe, Gary Meyer, Carroll Snead Settle, Edward Grigsby, Paul Benzento and Jerry Burke.
