Cilimberg then suggested to council members that they form a working committee, which would comprise Town Council and PD9 members, for the purpose of discussing in more detail the needs of Washington’s zoning ordinance.
The entire council agreed to meet with PD9 in a special work session on Wednesday, February 27 at 7:30 in the Courthouse. At that time, Council members will outline their expectations for Washington’s zoning ordinance. With that information, PD9 will draft a rough ordinance for the Council to review.
Other Business
During the meeting, the Council heard a complaint from Sammy Giles of Washington regarding television static caused by the antenna on top of the Sheriffs Department. Giles recommended that a filter be purchased to correct the problem. Mayor Kramer said that he would talk to bath the Sheriff and the supervisors about the matter.
The Council also authorized the drafting of a town dog ordinance.
