The Rappahannock County Elementary School Student Parent Teacher Association met on February 14th and endorsed several new projects and fundraisers.
The RCES gym will once again be rocking and rolling at a Sock Hop on Friday, March 15th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A St. Patrick’s theme will liven up the “hop”, and parents are asked to bring baked goods and drinks to sale (remember the green color scheme!). Admission is $1.00 for students and $1.00 for parents up to a maximum rate of $5.00 per family. Students in grades kindergarten through 7th grade are invited. Betty Bennett, SPTA President, is working to line up a good sound system and a master of ceremonies to call dance contests by age groups.
