Gid Ross Fincham, 50, of Culpeper, died Thursday, February 14.

A native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Fincham was retired from Bingham and Taylor. He had lived in Culpeper for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Tharpe Fincham of Culpeper; one son, Don Allen Fincham of Culpeper; two grandchildren; three sisters, Jessie Jenkins and Lottie Clatterbuck, both of Culpeper and Florine Kent of Manassas and four brothers, Reade Fincham of Bright wood, Littleton Fincham, Meade Fincham and Harry Fincham, all of Culpeper.

Funeral services were condcuted at Clore Funeral Home on Monday by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.

Andrew Lewis

Army Veteran

Andrew Jackson Lewis of Fairmount Heights, Maryland died Thursday, February 14 at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Lewis was a native of Rappahannock County. He attended the Rappahannock County Public School and graduated from George Washington Carver Regional High School in Culpeper.

He served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. After being discharged from the Army he moved to Washington, D.C. He was employed with F.W. Woolworth and Company, where be became manager.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea and son, Andrew Jerome, both of ^airmount Heights; father, Charlie C. Lewis of Sperryville; four brothers, James T. Lewis and Charles B. Lewis, both of Washington, D.C., Harry F. Lewis and Thomas C. Lewis, both of Sperryville; five sisters, Mrs. Mae Proctor of Lanham, Md., Mrs. Betsy Myles of Landover, Md., Mrs. Anna Allsberry of Manassas, Harriet Lewis and Virginia Lewis, both of Washington, D.C.; four nieces; seven nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at Sylvan Vista Baptist Church in Fairmount Heights, Maryland by the Rev. Arthur Luckett, Jr. Burial was at Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery in Maryland.
