On Sunday after church, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Ray Pullen and family and Mrs. Janie Pullen and Miss Desiree Polher enjoyed a delightful meal at Country Cookin’ in Culpeper. Mrs. Kirk Davis was a visitor in the Pullen home on Sunday evening.
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department met with the firemen at their regular monthly meeting on Monday night. The treasurer, Mrs. Frances Foster, presented the firemen with a $3,000 check. The Ladies plan to furnish the new kitchen at the fire house in a few weeks.
Miss Robin Jones, of Amissville, was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark, Richie Eastham and Edie Eastham.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Jimmie Reid, son of Bobby Reid, of Bartlesville, Okla., including his aunts, Mrs. Galdys R. Bowie, of Culpeper, Mrs. Russie R. Miller, of Flint Hill and Mrs. Alice R. Wood. Jimmie had visited here with his aunts in August.
