Lets look at how Jesus ministered heal-jJ ring to the sick and oppressed: Matt. 4:23y [says Jesus went about all Galilee teaching# ' in their synagogues and preaching the gos-Y • pel of the kingdom, and healing all manner# Jof disease among the people and all man-# ner of sickness. And his fame went through-Y J out all Syria: and they brought unto him all£ ysick people that were taken with different^ £ diseases and torments and those which" ? were possessed with devils and the lunatic wand those with palsy and he healed them. * # The people had heard about Jesus's# ¥ fame and they came to him and brought# # their sick; Jesus first taught and preached? #to them concerning healing and that it was 5 ? God's will for them to be totally whole (3# E John 2) and he told them that if they would Y 0 believe that God wanted them whole they# ? would receive their healing. The Bible says# £ he preached to them concerning the King- ? 0 dom of Heaven, the good news! If the peo- y # pie would repent and turn from sin God# # would forgive them - the same goes forY Y physical and mental healing, when we hearJJ y the word of God faith comes (Romans# # 10:17) and we can then believe what weY ¥ heard concerning healing and we can haves y our needs met. a 0 This is what we must do as Christians# Yfor those in need, whether they be bom# E again or not they can still be healed. In the J A four gospels everyone that received from# y Jesus was not yet bom again because Je-# E sus had not died and risen, Jesus was the J »first to be bom again (Romans 8:29). y • So Christians, we need to learn what# [Jesus has done for us and we need to be Y ,sharing with the world that Jesus will meety • them and help them and take care of all# l their needs. ¥
