Bertha L. Jenkins
Bertha Lee Jenkins, 84, of Culpeper, died Oct. 14 in her residence. Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Rappahannock County and the daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie Fincham Frazier. She was the widow of Edgar Jenkins.
Her survivors include two daughters, Virginia Hawkins, of Culpeper, and Rachel Love, of Austin. Texas; one son, Edgar Jenkins, Jr., of Stafford; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Jenkins and Mrs. Howard Jenkins, both of Culpeper, and Mrs. Rosser Jenkins, of North Carolina.
A funeral service was held on Oct. 16 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Clatterbuck officiated. Interment was in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
