drunk driving
Morris Wheeler, a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) member and employee of Southland Corporation or 7-Eleven, gave a slide and talk presentation recently to RCHS students on the dangers of drunk driving.
“I ask that you give me your heart, soul and mind for the next 40 minutes,” said Wheeler. He began his presentations with a film about 10 students killed by a drunk driver in Frederick County, Md. He then showed slides of students he knew who were killed by drunk drivers, including his 18-yeaT-old daughter who was killed shortly after graduation.
Classes throughout the day used time after the presentation to discuss drunk driving, and students expressed interest in starting a program.
