Rappahannock News Photo/Jane Bangley THIS 1980 CHEVROLET driven by Lucille King, of Amissville, was totalled in a twocar wreck on Route 211 East on Monday. Trooper R. A. Baines, who investigated the accident, said King pulled her car from the crossover at Route 642 into the path of a 1978 Dodge van driven by David Richards, of Culpeper. King’s vehicle was struck “broadside,” said Trooper Baines. King was transported by the Amissville Fire Department to Fauquier Memorial Hospital with lacerations and cuts on her legs. Ellen L. Nelson, a passenger in the van, was taken to the hospital with an injured right arm. The van sustained $800-900 worth of damage. Trooper Baines said charges are pending.
