restructured
The Child Care and Learning Center has undergone a major restructuring in the past few months to provide better day care for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten.
CCLC staff has weekly training sessions with Dr. Martha Ross, a specialist in early childhood development from James Madison University. Dr. Ross teaches how to have a better understanding of common developmental characteristics of students and helps the staff determine what techniques are best to guide, comfort and challenge the students. Programs have been designed and classrooms arranged to meet the specific needs of the children in CCLC’s three classes.
