Wilder last year voted to allow local governments to negotiate labor contracts with public employee union representatives. This year his Democratic Party at their annual convention is reported to have cancelled their order to use Coors beer at the convention when someone complained that Coors was operating an open shop, which was unfavorable to labor union control of their brewery. This in spite of the fact that Coors has just established one of the largest out-of-state operations in recent years in our state.
All of the above is a compelling reason why Virginians should vote for Durrette, Chichester and O’Brien.
