Night held

4-H Livestock Club Reporter
The Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club met with other county 4H clubs for Achievement night on Oct. 8.
After a pot-luck dinner, the group watched a film on Camp Fantastic, the camp for disabled children held at the 4-H Center in the summer. After the film, plans were made for a picnic at the 4-H Center on Oct. 19.
The achievement awards presented to many 4-H’ers and parents highlighted the evening. Those receiving awards were:
Sperryville 4-H Community Club — Lillian Crews, sewing; April Heddleston, food and nutrition; Jeff Dwyer, project leader; Barbara Burke, organization leader; Nancy Leake, project leader; Debbie Pullen, teen volunteer; Lucy Oliver, project leader; and Marsha Thompson, current organizational leader.
Livestock Club — Toni Updike, leader; Randall Updike, leader; Will Oliver, beef project (top); Irvin Starks, swine project (top); Susannah McNear, sheep project (top).
School leaders — Jennifer Gray and Cheryl Stone.
