New members for the group are being actively encouraged to come join with the 40-50 members who played the past season. John Russell and Ed Richards, co-directors, stress the fact that practically all of the present organization had to recover long unused instruments, dust them off and get back into playing once again.
Community support has increased over the past two concert seasons as shown by the increasing size of audiences at the performances. Conservative estimates of attendance over the past year would put the combined audiences at about 5,000 people, many of whom haye hardly missed a single concert.
