The Citizens’ Alliance for Drug Rehabilitation and Education, which is attempting to establish a grassroots organization to fight substance abuse in the Commonwealth, has had a successful first year. That was the report from Assistant Attorney General John West during a meeting with Rappahannock’s CADRE chapter at the high school last Thursday.
Mr. West visited the school as part of CADRE’s fall campaign kickoff, offering the services of the eight state agencies involved in the alliance to the local organizations — and supplying moral support for their effort as well.
