Mr. West stressed the importance of student involvement. He added, “I’m particularly glad to see the students involved here,” as he addressed the three student representatives present. “They sometimes get left out.”
Often, Mr. West quickly noted, the students are the ones who are most likely to say what they really think about an idea. That was quickly confirmed, as Gina Fletcher reacted to the packets passed out by Mr. West. Miss Fletcher recounted the reaction her mother had to CADRE’s new slogan: that she didn’t much care for the idea of that slogan being on her car.
