Henry Lewis Taylor, 92, of Huntly died Sept. 12 in the Veterans' Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Mr. Taylor was born May 30, 1896 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Mary Taylor. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post 174 of Front Royal.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Robbie Taylor, Front Royal; one son, George T. Taylor, Front Royal; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. at the TumerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. JohJTPendleton officiating. Burial will be in the Russell family cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Russell, Thomas Jett, Samuel Jett, Robert Pendleton, Arthur Russell and George Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post 174.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today, Sept. 15 at the funeral home.
