Senate, as he addressed a rally of Rappahannock County Republicans last Saturday. v
“What do we stand for? If it is for limited government, a strong defense and the Strategic Defense Initiative, a balanced budget, then elect Bush, Quayle, Dawkins, and Slaughter.”
Mr. Dawkins railed against what he called the “cocaine invasion,” which is speading throughout the nation’s neighborhoods. “Nobody asks what kind of neighborhood you have when they are selling drugs.” Republicans, Mr. Dawkins said, are taking the initiative in proposing strong penalties, including the drug penalty for so-called drug kingpins.
