It’s no small wonder that thrifty canned beans continue to maintain high popularity among consumers. They can serve as low-fat, proteinrich alternatives to meat or stand on their own. In addition to protein, they serve as good sources of B vitamins (including niacin, thiamine. Bti. and folacin), potassium, and iron.
