Louise Campbell

Louise Gore Campbell, 80, of Luray, mother of Christine Campbell Johnson of Luray, died Sept. 7 at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 29, 1907 in Fauquier County and was a daughter of the late Hugh Gilbert and Maude Dodson Gore.

On June 23, 1930 she married J. William Campbell, who survives.

Mrs. Campbell received her Registered Nurse degree from Emergency Hospital in Washington, D.C. and used her training to nurture her large family and her friends.

She was a homemaker and a member of Page Chapter 24 Order of the Eastern Star, St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Page Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Surviving besides her husband and daughter, are three sisters, Virginia M. Lindstrom, Washington, Dorothy G. Estes, Sperryville and Helen G. Benton, Flint Hill; four grandchildren. Mark William John
