Miss Payne is a 1981 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed with Payne Supply, Inc. in Front Royal.
Mr. Thompson is a 1979 graduate of Warren County High School and is employed by Atlantic Research Corp. in Gainesville.
The couple plan to be married on March 11, 1989.
