Magic show at Sperryville
A Magic Show will be held at the Sperryville fire hall on Friday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. The second annual show is sponsored by the Sperryville Fire Department and tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door and may be purchased from any member. For more information call Greg Wayland at 987-8260.
Honorary chief needed
Help the Chester Gap Vol. Fire Dept, and earn extra spending money for yourself. Girls are needed to compete for the titles of Honorary Fire Chief, Junior Miss and Tiny Miss. Honorary Fire Chief are for girls between the ages of 15-21. Junior miss for those 10-14 and tiny miss for those 4-9. If interested, attend the meeting at the Chester Gap Vol. Fire Dept, on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. Girls living in Rappahannock, Warren and surrounding counties are eligible for these titles. Peace Pilgrim visits Washington
The Shanti Yoga Center for Harmony cordially invites you to join us at the Gay St. Theatre in Washington for an evening with Peace Pilgrim. For nearly three decades, she walked more than 25,000 miles across America bearing the message “Overcome evil with good, falsehood with truth and hatred with love.” It is from her own lips and her own words that her extraordinary experience is given in a video that will be presented on Sunday, April 29 at 4 p.m. After the video we will have time for questions and answers, a discussion and some refreshments.
