The next time your readers drink to somebody’s health, I hope that they will remember a few of these facts. Only when Virginia begins to re-evaluate its attitudes about alcohol and put this legal drug into proper perspective can we expect to make any progress in treating the epidemic of addiction now destroying the very fabric of our society.
Treatment: early treatment, late treatment, treatment that is welcomed and treatment that is fought, all have one thing in common for addiction. It works. It can stop the addiction and return a full human being back to his family.
