Theatre IV, one of the nation’s leading children’s theatre companies, will present a rollicking musical adaptation of the beloved Aesop’s fable, “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse,” Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Warrenton Jr. High auditorium. With its professional cast, an ingenious set, and music which spans the spectrum from country to jazz, the production holds appeal for young and old alike. Co-sponsored by Roy Rogers Family Restaurants and the Fauquier County Parks & Recreation Department, this whimsical production takes the familiar tale of two adorable mice who attempt to trade cultures and gives it a few novel twists.
