An ali-you-can-eat breakfast will be served by the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue on Mother’s Day, May 13 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Amissville Ruritans will meet at Amissville Baptist on May 8, at 6:30 p.m. to travel to the Ruritans Zone meeting to be held at the Marshall Ruritan Building, at 7:30 p.m. This will be in lieu of their regular May meeting.

Amissville Ruritans have set their annual barbeque date for July 7, at the fire hall.

The Ruritan’s annual auction is set for September 8, at 6 p.m. at Stuart’s Field.

The fireman’s carnival is set for June 27-30. The parade will be on Thursday, June 28, at 7 p.m. with line up up at 6 p.m.

The Aimssville United Methodist Women will hold a yard/bake sale on Saturday, May 19.

On June 13 UMW will hold their annual meeting and lunch at Graves Mountain Lodge.

Register by May 1 to attend PD9 area Homemakers’ spring meeting on May 19 at the Northern Virginia Education Center. Mail registration to Margaret Dodson at Box 310, Flint Hill 22627.
