Shenandoah National Park will host its Twelfth Biennial Symposium on Research and Resource Management on Majr 10 and 11.
’’This gathering of academicians, scientists, resource managers and Others interested in the protection and perpetuation of the Park’s natural resources will meet at the Luray Inn and Conference Center beginning at 8 a.m. on May 10. The theme is “Partners in Preservation.”
Papers on various research and resource monitoring projects occurring within the Park will be presented. The Friday evening banquet at the Luray Inn will feature as guest speaker Bernard Caton, deputy secretary of Virginia’s Department of Natural Resources.
