THE LOST SHEEP
The Lost Sheep represents the sinner as departed - from God, and is in danger of being lost forever, if not brought back to Him.
The parable of the prodigal Son shows the nature of repentance.
In St. Luke Chapter 15 - verses 11 and 12 tells of a man that had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
Verses 13 through 19 tells some of the things that can happen to us, being lost from God, and also what to do about it, when God opens the eyes of the sinner, and convinces him of sin, and gives him the sight to see his lost condition.
He must have a willing disire to make a change. The sinner must humble himself, and ask God to free him from the bondage of Satan, and let repentance come from the heart, and not just from the lips.
Everyone needs God to give you strength and courage to live the life is pleasing to Him.
He will receive you, and forgive you, and you will feel joy and happiness like never before.
