The School Board members toured the elementary school Tuesday night and received a detailed description of what programs are offered in each space.
They heard that one of the former storage closets across' from the cafeteria is used for in-school suspension, physical therapy, private testing and work space for school volun- . teers. One of the temporary classrooms located behind the >' school will have to be divided * to provide for an additional * special education classroom. !
Of the two rooms that could be converted to regular classroom use, one is used by four different teachers for art instruction and also for chorus for fifth through seventh grades. The other is used already as a homeroom and for science instruction one period a day. It is also used for art instruction two days a week, for occasional testing and for math instruction for fifth and sixth graders one day a week.
