Ella Settle Scott and the widow of John L. Kilby Sr.
She is survived by one son, John L. Kilby Jr.; two daughters, Frances K. Jacobs of Alexandria and Mary Lee Poe of Amissville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, March 10 at the GeestJohnson Funeral Home with the Rev. H.O. Browning Jr. officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Greg Poe, Ronald Lee Poe, Travis Fincham, David Myers, James Scott and Willie Singleton.
Clyde Atkins
Clyde Melvin Atkins, 87, of Luray, died Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Page Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Atkins was born June 27, 1904 in Rappahannock County and was a son of the late Ernest and Mary A. Dodson Atkins.
He was raised by the late James W. and Annie 0. Dodson Atkins.
He was a retired employee of the Virginia Oak Tannery.
On Dec. 24, 1936, he married Maggie E. Atkins, who died June 30, 1984.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary F. Foltz of Luray; a sister, Daisy Rosenberry of Front Royal and a grandchild.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday, Feb. 29 at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by the Rev. Buddy Caviness. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery.

Kathleen Gordon Heflin Vance, 80, of Front Royal, died Monday, March 9 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday, March 11 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Randorff
