A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for John Woodward, candidate for Sheriff, will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. at the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company. Jackson District voters are cordially invited to an informal gathering for Jack Atkins for Supervisor on Sunday, Oct. 10 from-1 until 4 p.m. at the Amissville fire station. Hot dogs, drinks and cookies will be provided. Residents are encouraged to come out, meet and talk with the candidate.

A “Meet the Candidates” event will be held at Rappahannock County High School auditorium commons area on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for supervisor and school board candidates. The event is endorsed by: Rappahannock County Education Association, Headwaters, First Thursday Group, Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, Band Boosters, PTO, Flint Hill Fire and Rescue Company and Belle Meade Summer Camp. . . From 6:30 to 7 p.m. the audience will submit questions; the forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a one hour social with supervisor and school board candidates. The moderator for the event will be William Dfetel. This is a non partisan event intended to be informational and helpful to candidates and voters.
