Flemming holds a BA from Old Dominion University and has been painting in watercolor for over 25 years. He has studied with some of the top instructors in the country including Skip Lawrence, Charles Reid, Rex Brandt, Robert Wood, and Bob Wade. He has been teaching watercolor painting classes at The Art League School located in Alexandria, for the last four years, and has two very successful painting videos and also teaches workshops nationally and internationally.
The workshop will be held at Shimmering Meadows Farm Studio located between Sperryville and Culpeper. Shimmering Meadows with views of Old Rag Mountain offers 31 scenic and private acres on which to paint. In case of rain students will work in the fully equipped teaching studio located on the premises. The workshop is for all levels of painters.
