Photo courtesy of The Theatre The Uptown Vocal Jazz Quartet will be swinging through jazz of several decades at The Theatre at Washington on Saturday, Oct. 9, in a concert beginning at 8 p.m. Backed by piano, guitar, bass, and drums, the popular group have performed widely in the Washington, O.C., metropolitan area. The vocalists who make up the quartet are Ginny Carr, Robert McBride, Lisanne Lyon and Roger Reynolds. Paul Wingo will be heard on guitar, Peter Revel on bass, Larry Eanet on piano, and Mike Smith on drums. Tickets for the concert are $14 with reservation, $15 at the door.
