tutorial program for students in the primary grades who are experiencing difficulty with reading skills and are performing below grade level. • Thanks to Mrs. Margaret Gottlieb for volunteering to help sew costumes for the Renaissance Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 11. We need many (maybe 50) costumes and are anxious to find other volunteers to help with this wonderful project; Mrs. Helen Williams, Director of Special Education, Mrs. Florence Goff, Central Office Secretary, Mrs. Holly Propst, third grade Teacher, and Mrs. Danett Opseth, RCES Secretary, have been helping with this project, but we still need much more assistance. • Mrs. Sheila Smith, second grade teacher at RCES, is an active volunteer with the Amissville Fire and Rescue Squad when she is not teaching. One of her many duties is the scheduling of events. Mrs. Linda Torrance, RCPS Nurse, is an avid soccer mom and coaches a U-10 Soccer Team for the Rappahannock Soccer League as well as directing Children’s Church at Amissville Baptist Church.
