On Oct. 16, the Lazy S. Llama Ranch, my good friends, Pat and Charlie Sher will be holding the second annual Fun Fair and Llama Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be live music at noon, hot dogs, drinks popcorn and baked goods for sale, moon bounce, hayride, face painting and name the baby llama contest. 4-H clubs, Sheriffs Office and girl scouts will be there. The ranch is located on Route 611, Waterford Road in Amissville. See you there!
The Amissville Baptist Church is organizing and collecting items for Disaster Relief, for the flood victims of hurricane Floyd in Franklin. Our goal is a truck load of cleaning items, clorox, lysol, paper products, toiletries, canned food and money will be accepted at the church. Please no clothing.
