grams. We need to see that all students have the opportunity to be involved in an athletic program to keep them healthy. This would take planning and funding to support an additional P.E. teacher in the elementary school which 1 would try to do as funding becomes available. At the high school I would see that the much needed athletic fields became a reality and not just a dream. I realize that this cannot happen all at one time. It will take a great deal of planning and the best use of available funding. This task will require a cooperative effort between the Board of Supervisors and the School Board.

The athletic program in our community is limited because of population size. I believe that volunteer fund-raising programs should be employed to help the schools improve their resources. I would like to see. the county have a football team. ■ would do what I could in the county to develop fund-raising programs that would bri about improvement on a voluntary basis.
