When the Moore water issue first came into play, our Supervisor Mr. Ron Frazier and our Planning Commission representative Mr. Raymond Brown were immediately met with a full discussion and details were given concerning the water system.
Our representatives were asked to discuss this issue with both boards. This was a normal and proper way of doing business, go through your representatives. After more than one month had passed a follow-up letter was written on what, if any progress has been made on the water issue.
Well this got a lot of attention, but no answer or response to anything was received. The next thing was the listing in the Rappahannock News of a meeting concerning the water issue. This is the way the system works here.
The system worked real well for the special interest groups, who showed up in force and inflating every statement that was said.
This water issue was not about what I wanted or any interest I have in it. Mr. Moore, the owner of the water system was as shocked as anyone could be.
