mm Amissville died Monday, April 10 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom Aug. 16, 1930 in California.
Mr. Kane retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 22 years of service. In civilian life he spent 15 years in business management. Upon his retirement to Amissville, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette Lee Kane.
Survivors include two sons, James B. Kane Jr. of Dale City and Donald W. Kane of Warrenton; two daughters, Cherri Lassiter of Warrenton and Erin Beckelhimer of Remington and one sister, Eilyanna Widdowson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton on April 20 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.
