Joe Maio noted what could happen without a very detailed Comprehensive Plan and supporting documentation. He cited the situation in Loudoun County.
They now need 22 new schools and he noted that one new high school costs $50 million. The people in Rappahannock County need to inform their local government representatives (their Board of Supervisors member or Planning Commission member) of their concerns about sprawl. People must become politically aware, understand the issues, and present a united front on local action.
