Destiny Menefee of Sperryville and Jeffrey Compton of Castleton way, who were married at New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday afternoon.
Area residents are invited to bring their young children to the Sperryville Fire Department Saturday afternoon for their annual Easter egg hunt. Quite a number of other activities will take place and the cost is $5 per child. This event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.
Please call the Extension Office at 675-3619 for any information concerning the Pantry Program, which will be conducted at the Hope Hill Baptist Church, Castleton, beginning Wednesday, April 26.
Congratulations to our area students Amanda Sims, a junior and Brittany Thornhill an eight grader who made the A honor roll for the past grading advisory and to A-B Honor Roll students, Rebekah Letsen and Matthew Wolfe, who are seniors and eight grade twins David and John Letsen. All are students at Rappahannock High School and encouragement to each of you, keep up the good work. We apologize if we miss anyone from our area.
Kara Grace Corbin, sponsored by Don Corbin Masonary, was the winner for Little Miss Rappahannock, at the Rappahannock Pageant Saturday evening.
