The youth of the Amissville Baptist Church has two teams going and one adult team. If you would like more information please contact Ester Settle at 635-6402 or Benny Atkins at 635-2377.
The first weekend in April a group of Culpeper High School students went to Virginia Beach to participate in the FCCLA (Family Career & Community Leaders of America) state competition. Amongst the group were five area Amissville students. The group won the competition and now will travel to Florida in July for nationals. Each student and chaperone must raise $1006 by June in order to go. If you would like to contribute to these students, please send a check to Culpeper High School made out to CCHS»FCCLA or contact Mrs. Randi Richards Lutz at 825-8310. Your support will be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.
