Cooter’s Place, the popular Dukes of Hazzard theme shop in Sperryville, will continue to offer the best in Virginia Bluegrass music every Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m.

Ben Jones, who played Cooter on the hit television show, says that the store will feature top bluegrass pickers every Sunday until Christmas. “The music is mighty fine, topnotch Bluegrass. And not only that, but it is free to the public in a beautiful setting. We feel that Cooter’s and Sperryville are becoming a Bluegrass mecca for this region.”

Among the bands being featured this summer are the Page County Ramblers, Lost River, Five of a Kind, Lonesome Highway, and a new
