salvation is ours because of
Christ’s crucifixion upon the Cross. We are forgiven. When we receive this gift from God how do we begin to draw closer to Him?
We have lessons we must learn before we dwell with God. Having human nature, we, as God’s children will learn many lessons the hard way. Sometimes we will actually do it right the first time, following Jesus' example. One way or the other, we will grown in wisdom and in the Spirit through the gift of forgiveness.
God also wants us to spread the spiritual light of love to others as Jesus did. In 1 John 4:16-19, we read .. “God is Love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.. .there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out feat’.. .and he who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.” This message is our daily strength!
We need that strength to fill the sandals of the Man of Galilee. Worship this week and every week. Have a most blessed Easter.
