She was a homemaker and a member of Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Freeman and one son, James Freeman, both of Washington and one grandson, Tymeyer Freeman.

Additional survivors include three sisters, Anne Freeman, Mabel Glasker and Lily Clanagan, all of Washington; two brothers, Walter Freeman and James Freeman, both of Washington; two brothers-in-law, Ellis Glasker and Pete Clanagan, both of Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 19 at Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. John Pendleton officiating.

Interment was in the Freeman Family Cemetery, Gid Brown Hollow Road.

W. C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Elaine Greenwalt Rowe, 82, of Front Royal died Friday, April 14 at the home of her son, Ronald E. Rowe in Front Royal.

Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, April 18 at Prospect Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Jones Jr. officiating.
