Once through the gate, we walked over a rise and there before us, in a small cluster of trees in the pasture, was an old pioneer cemetery. This was not the Bryan ceme: tery but a later one for the Taylors, who were subsequent owners of the property. The Bryan cemetery, was said tq have been situated near the base of the hill, some 500 yards away. Located on a small knoll on the opposite side of the North Fork of the Thornton River from the Bryan house, it was reported that the marker stones were used by the grandfather of the current owners as building material.
