County Methodist services
Rappahannock County Methodist Churches will have worship services for Sunday, April 23 as follows: Flint Hill at 8:45 a.m.; Sperryville at 11:15 a.m. and Willis Chapel at 10 a.m. The Rev. Merlin Shorb is pastor and invites the public.
Easter services at Gourdvine
Gourdvine Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 23 followed by breakfast in the fellowship hall. Sunday School follows at 9:45 for all ages. At 11 a.m. the church will be presenting an Easter Cantata entitled, “Love Crucified Arose” coordinated and directed by Marjorie Miller. The church is located on Route 729. All are invited to attend.
