The Architectural Review Board of the Town of Washington met last Thursday to consider applications by Sunnyside Farms for Mercantile Building changes; by Olivia Byam for a porch at the Foster Harris House; and by the Rappahannock National Bank for a fence.
The Mercantile Building changes, which were approved by the board, consisted of the addition of a handicap ramp on the building’s right side, the change of the porch roof style for gable to hip, and the addition of a 3 foot by 7 foot roof over the front steps.
The Foster Harris House B & B received board approval for the creation of an office from a portion of the building’s back deck, and the Bank received an okay for the of boxwoods with a split
replacement!
