Mrs. Raines is a registered nurse and is a prenatal educator with the Harrisonburg OB/GYN Associates, PC in Harrisonburg. They have two children, Jacalyn R. McCutchen who also chooses education as a profession but is currently devoting full time to a nine month old daughter, Kennedy. She and her husband, Timothy J.* McCutchen reside in Harrisonburg.

Their son, Diron C. Raines and his wife Barbara, resides in Atlanta, Ga., where he is a Technical Representative with C.K. Witco and she is a second grade teacher.

Mr. Raines states, “Quality education of our children has always been very important to me. The uniqueness of Rappahannock County High School is that I know each student individually as well as a majority of the parents and can respond to the individual needs of the students.”
