Rapp beats Strasburg BY PAUL PARATORE RCHS Boys Varsity Soccer Coach On April 11 Rapp played Strasburg and the first half of the game was give and go and ended with neither team scoring. Rapp turned it on in the second half with a quick goal by Frank Paratore, followed by two more from Ralph Pace with help from senior Steven Torrance. Rapp defense was strong and held Strasburg to no goals. Final score: Rapp 3, Strasburg 0. On April 14 Rapp met Brentsville. This was another great effort by our Rappahannock boys soccer team. A great cross from Josh DeMarr gave freshman Mike Fairbrother his first goal of the season. Ralph Pace followed with another goal to tie the game at 2-2. A strong defense led by sophomore goalie Nathan Clark held off the Tigers and the game ended with two goals each. The Rapp boys are undefeated with a 2-0-2 district record.
