Students can receive an IB diploma or elect to take certain individual courses for an IB certificate. In addition, the program requires the students to participate in community service. Clarke County has chosen to encourage 100 percent student participation regardless of academic ability. This program will benefit all students whether they choose the IB diploma or to take one course.
The IB Prqgram is offered at high schools in Northern Virginia, Richmond, Tidewater and at Clarke County High School. The current school budget
