The public is always invited to attend presentations at either of our schools. We just ask for prior notification, if possible.
• Volunteer Recognition Week is scheduled for April 22-28, but each year I have the overwhelming feeling that this one week is not enough. We, as a county should be saying thank you all year long. A movement is beginning, thanks to the help of many of you, to have Rappahannock County designated the “Volunteer Capital of Virginia”.

our very small county may very well have a larger percentage of volunteerism than any place else in the state. Many of our organizations would not exist were it not for our incredibly generous county volunteers.
The money our county saves thanks to volunteerism is immeasurable. If you are grateful that we have so many dedicated volunteers in our midst, and you would like to help recognize them in this way, please call.
