Sne urged us to look at unique color combination^ in everyday surroundings, such as greeting cards and catalogs, and notice how color is used in commercial photography to stir a certain mood or feeling.
Eddison offered a few surefire color hints:
• Purple and silver always works.
• Yellow, blue and green is always pleasing
• Gray is the great marriage counselor: any color looks good with a shade of gray, so it should be added, with stone, bark or paint.
She advises gardeners to fret less over someone else’s imposed style and rules. In short, a garden should make you happy and, “As long as there is enough green, it will be all right.”
